Is anyone aware that.......

The last time our government has broken up a monopoly was AT&T in 1984.  It was broken up into what was called the small "bell" companies I assume similar to where my grandmother used to work at and retired from Contel.  If this is true we the people have allowed these tech giants, big pharma, and the companies that absolutely control all food and communications into prison's and detention centers control the prices of all goods therefore extorting the poor or lower to middle class and furthering the disconnection that the current judicial system systematically does not to mention not adequately funding or giving the public defenders an equal chance in defending their clients while also not allowing them to make a decent living doing so either.  Countries like Great Brittan have sued Google successfully in their countries for anti-trust or monopolies, so why are they not being broke up like standard oil was back in 1911 with the Sherman Anti-trust act?  Why are we allowing these huge companies control prices, the ads we see, what's in our feeds, and even how we think?  Answer is in the last question... because they play a huge role in our everyday lives they can control what we think thru these persuasive techniques mentioned by Tristan Harris in a Ted Talk and in a documentary called "The Social Dilemma".  People need to realize that we are the most divided we've ever been and what does it say on the dollar bill?  United we trust.  We need to unite and quit arguing over these trivial issues and start holding these politicians accountable for them allowing this country to be ran only by the 1% and similar to the 99% movement, that is what this country needs to do to impose radical change to a fair system that gets rid of the electoral college, gerry mandering, term limits, and a 6 year term for the president along with allow more than just 2 choices in parties like finland where they have 14 political parties which keeps the parties competing instead of just mud slinging.

Don't let project 2025 happen or this is what will happen:

If Project 2025 is fully implemented, it would trigger sweeping changes across U.S. governance, economy, and civil rights, with profound societal consequences:

**Economic Restructuring**

- **Tax Shifts**: Individual income taxes would shift to a two-rate system (15% and 30%), disproportionately raising taxes on low- and middle-income households[1]. Corporate tax rates would drop to 18%, and capital gains taxes for high earners to 15%, benefiting wealthy individuals and businesses[1][2].

- **Abolishing Agencies**: The Federal Reserve, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and FTC would be dismantled, weakening financial oversight and antitrust enforcement[1][6]. Merging economic statistical agencies (e.g., Census Bureau) and aligning them with conservative principles risks politicized data[1].

- **Labor Protections**: Overtime pay for 4.3 million workers could vanish, and OSHA enforcement would relax for small businesses[1][5].

**Education Overhaul**

- **Defunding Public Schools**: Title I grants for low-income schools would expire, risking 72,000 teacher layoffs and reduced support for 2.8 million vulnerable students[2][9]. The Department of Education would face $11 billion in cuts, eliminating programs for English learners and slashing Federal Work Study aid for 330,000 students[2][9].

- **Privatization Push**: Funding would shift to state block grants and school vouchers, eroding federal accountability[9].

**Civil Rights and Social Policies**

- **Immigration Crackdown**: Mass deportations would escalate via expanded detention resources and arrests of undocumented immigrants nationwide[3]. Asylum claims would face stricter scrutiny under revived "remain in Mexico" policies[10].

- **Reproductive Rights**: Medication abortion (mifepristone) would be banned, and mailing abortion pills criminalized[3][5].

- **LGBTQ+ Discrimination**: Title IX protections would exclude gender identity, allowing bans on transgender athletes in women’s sports[3][9].

**Democratic Erosion**

- **Executive Power Consolidation**: Tens of thousands of nonpartisan civil servants would be replaced with political loyalists, enabling unchecked implementation of policies like national abortion bans or weakened environmental regulations[5][7].

- **Election Integrity Risks**: Federal oversight of elections would diminish, potentially enabling voter suppression tactics[7].

**Institutional Collapse**

- **Checks and Balances**: Independent agencies (e.g., NLRB) would be politicized, and the DOJ weaponized against political opponents[7]. Legal challenges to these changes might fail due to a conservative-leaning judiciary shaped by the same movement[5][7].

- **Global Parallels**: Critics warn the U.S. could resemble autocratic regimes like Hungary, with concentrated executive power and eroded civil liberties[7].

Proponents argue these changes would "restore power to the people" by dismantling the "Deep State," securing borders, and boosting energy production[10]. However, opponents emphasize the plan’s potential to deepen inequality, strip protections from marginalized groups, and destabilize democratic norms[3][5][7].

As of April 2024, **$8.6 billion** has been raised for the 2024 federal elections (House, Senate, and presidential races), with $3.9 billion spent by that time[1]. Political action committees (PACs) contributed **65% of total funds** ($5.6 billion), while individual candidates raised $2.0 billion and party committees collected $929.9 million[1][2].

### Key Breakdowns

**Presidential Race**

- Candidates raised $570.4 million through March 2024, with Republicans securing $347.6 million (61%) and Democrats $184.9 million (32%)[1].

- Spending reached $409.3 million, led by Republicans ($278.2 million) and Democrats ($99.3 million)[1].

**Congressional Races**

- **Senate**: Candidates raised $839.7 million, with Democrats accounting for 60.7% ($509.3 million)[1].

- **House**: Candidates spent $705.9 million, led by Republicans ($379.7 million)[1].

### Historical Context

The 2024 cycle is on track to surpass previous records. Adjusted for inflation, the **2020 federal elections cost $18.3 billion**, while the 2016 cycle totaled $8.5 billion[3][4]. PACs and Super PACs—empowered by rulings like *Citizens United v. FEC*—have significantly driven spending growth, enabling unlimited contributions from corporations and wealthy donors[4].

### Projections

OpenSecrets estimates the **total cost of the 2024 federal elections at $15.9 billion**, with $10.3 billion allocated to congressional races and $5.5 billion to the presidential race[3]. This would mark a new spending record, reflecting a 137% surge in fundraising between November 2023 and April 2024[1][3].

What should happen is the many civil servants and federal workers laid off by this administration will know how to help the other 99% gather together and probably overthrow this government in order to make a better democracy with new ideas and a new constitution for the 21st century that is FOR THE PEOPLE and BY THE PEOPLE and should be somewhat similar to Finland in that we should have many choices in political parties so the party with the best track record and who wins by vote. NO electoral college, no gerrymandering, no lobbying, and all the money spent on political campaigns should be used to rebuild infrastructure and even possibly a universal basic income so people can pursue what makes them happy, and those without any talents or useful skills who only spread hate should be deported to hmmm... let's say Mexico for the rest of their lives and let them see how the very immigrants that they are so against letting stay here have to go thru so drop em off at panama and let's see how many survive and make it back to the bored to just be deported again.  That seems like a truly fair way to exile the one's who deserve it.   The best way to keep our economy going would be to redistribute the wealth to the lower and middle classes who spend the most money just as the covid stimulus did.  Let's retrain some of the officers and mostly those who risk their lives fighting a new ending drug wat to be social workers and reduce the demand on our end, does anyone realize how many lives that would save on ours and mexico's end?  Decriminalize drugs like Portugal and Oregon, even Colorado has some progressive laws about drugs too, and let's start caring about keeping each other alive or simply caring for thy neighbor.  We are a country of immigrants so who are we say no to  people fleeing one of the 56 active conflicts currently from coming to a safe place.  Youtube and Isolation are more dangerous in making  home grown terrorists due to the fact that when isolated people become more susceptible to being recruited by these extremist organizations and that's not aimed at religion it's aimed at any organization that has extreme beliefs that conflict with life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness as long as it harms no one else.  Let's adopt all the good policies that other countries do just like in the film "Who to invade next" talks about.  Remove any political bias from what the filmmaker may have and look at the evidence or facts and let those be the deciding factors, aka "What makes LOGICAL sense".  Remove tax loopholes that the ultra rich and big company's or monopoly's have so they pay their fair share and let's go back to unionizing to fight for worker's rights, then where will amazon and walmart go?  They will either fall in line or move to the communist countries where the cheapest and easiest to control labor is.  Police have unions and deserve them but so should every large companies workforce as well.  Fair is achievable it may not be exact but we can try a whole lot harder to make things fair for all people.
