This is exactly how messed up my family is

 

What kind of family stays in touch with an ex-husband who was a police officer and lives in Colorado who had children with my aunt ant these kids are over 24 years old when that Colorado officer used his police connections to instill fear into the family’s youngest daughter(my aunt), then they blame her when he is just as guilty for the same exact thing they blame her for.  What family stays in contact with people another family member(me) is in a lawsuit against and keeps secrets rather than standing up for their own family member at all,  My family, that’s who does that and all the while hasn’t talked to me or my aunt for years, had no meaningful conversations and they try to pull us into their misery or cult(In mom and Dad's case) and ignores the obvious things that were right in front of their face the entire time.  Honesty and the fact that me and my aunt are the only one's who've ever tried (and had some success no thanks to the family) to get better but who are we getting better for?  A bunch of self-centered materialistic self-righteous people that deserve no one’s love.  It’s obvious the other family members have gotten all they have ever wanted out of life, literally and now all they do is try to control mine and my aunts to this very day.  That type of cohesive control is a form of domestic abuse and gaslighting to a tee.

    Also even my aunt remembers how hyperactive my youngest nephew was as a kid and even I remember them saying or him saying he has trouble focusing but they couldn't even see the signs of ADHD if it bit them in the butt!  but his ADHD is due to environmental factors like his mother taking opiates during the whole pregnancy.

   I have more of my mother's genetics just minus the alcoholism, and my sister has more of my father's narcissism but since she's played the victim all my life that would make her a vulnerable narcissist when she was almost always the instigator even as kids.  My mother, father, and sister exhibit the Dunning-Kruger effect, schadenfreude, blame-shifting, projection, conformation bias, and many other Narcissistic Personality Disorder Traits.
