Truth from my perspective, prove me wrong...

Very few people have the ability to truly listen or even want to listen, so many think they already know it all.  The biggest problem I’ve seen is the fact that no one goes along with the golden rule but many in positions of power think the rules don’t apply to them, or even laws in some cases.  I’ve also met many people who lack the ability to show true empathy or active listening skills and this is what sets me apart from my family especially because I’ve listened to all their crappy advice and there were very few things that they have told me that I would consider good advice at all, yet they as in my my family think they know it all and show no empathy or understanding towards anyone but themselves.  Not a single family member has made me feel like they truly heard me and literally the longest they have ever listened for was 10 minutes and every one of them never gets information directly from me so I assume they didn’t learn what I learned in the 1st grade about how information get changed every time it’s told from one person to another that’s how rumors get started rather than talking to me directly they assume way to much and have no idea who I am but I know who they are for sure.

The only thing my family has taught me is how NOT to treat people and I've learned that lesson all to well especially with how they treat me.
