If god created man in his own image then what was god? A man

 

Who was there to say the people who were merely authors whose books were put together by the roman catholics, do you not think they left out parts they didn't want and kept what they did?  History has always been written by the winners of all the bloody battles waged over religion and race or perception of truth.  When the indians were the native people here in america what do you think they turned to or blamed when it was an event they could not explain?  The gods.  Religion has been the leading cause of division in society since the dead sea scrolls were discovered.  Man has had his hand on every part of it.  Why do you think the Vatican hides all the relics they supposedly have?  Because they aren't real there just a way for them to keep control over the people that believe them.  All the science that can be seen and tested leads toward evolution but everyone's free to believe what they want but logic and reason dictate due to fossil records of other living things that have evolved over time.  The bible is a book of stories to keep people moral and yet what is the first commandment?  Thou shall not kill?  We don't even respect the main principles of the book that so many judgemental christians follow.  So who is to say that Mormons are wrong, or Assembly of god? or Presbiterian? or Methodist?  all of they just choose to focus on different portions of the bible more than other's, the main thing is the guiding principle's and looking at the book as a whole yet very few do.  Practice what you preach, don't make promises you don't intend to keep because a man/woman is only as good as their word and right now I've seen very few who keep their word.  The small things and what we do each day are where the change can begin because as long as we stay selfish the world will only get more divided and if the bible is right, why are we going backwards in it?  We are upon the tower of babel days, I realize this is an uncomfortable truth but if you can't be honest with yourself, or you blame, shame, demean, belittle, make fun of other's then what good are you to society as a whole because those that solve problems don't talk about it they just do but it start's with active listening and empathy, the givers should be helped the most because there are so few of us compared to the takers.  I just get tired of being taken from while alone.  My family, I do not know them, they are the same as the evil they speak of so much and they can't grow as people anymore, because those who can't admit when they're wrong cannot learn anymore, because if your mind is made up then your free to stay that way just keep it to yourself and stop spreading hate, because hat is just as toxic as any virus.  The only healthy version of narcissism has empathy and if you don't know what that is GOOGLE it......
