This is why I'm angry with the authority figures that have spread so much mininformation

Use Logic to slowly change the perspective and narrative so many have affected by.

I sat and had a wonderful conversation with some friends who absolutely believe exactly as my parents have for 5 years now, do you know what happened?  I listened, l learned, we had many things we both believed to be true but what did I do while engaging them in meaningful conversation? I very gently told them what I've learned to be true but didn't force it because I'm am the most angry at the authority figures we trusted to give us accurate information and they used the pandemic as a time for them to spread tens of thousands of false information and when it affects them, the people I listened to, as much as it does me, is when it hurts me so much to see them barely getting by, yet they are helping me find a place in the area because they want to keep me around because they know i'm honest, and caring, and above all, I LISTEN.  Even thou we disagreed we have a great conversation and can share each other's struggles without arguing at all, this by itself proves that when a person who can actually see things from both sides, is for some reason pushed away by his family who willingly and pushes their beliefs on their family by the silent treatment and the use of power over them, is absolutely abusive because my family were educated people and know how to do research while the nice people I had a conversation with did not come from such a privledged background and had been thru so much adversity, I feel for them regardless of their beliefs and these are the people I choose to help, because I understand why they believe and why they are absolutely entitled to their perspectives and opinions but still need help from people like me who listen, empathize, understand, and can put myself in their shoes to an extent.  

When an authority figure willingly spreads so many lies it causes this level of division among people it absolutely should be a crime because so many people were very vulnerable during the pandemic and this is when the most of these conspiracy theories were spread and believed and I don't blame those who believed, I blame those in power who helped spread these falsehoods willingly not even trying to research any of the beliefs they spread even by word of mouth to their own family's.  This is when misinformation becomes a weapon for making a country so divided and easily taken over by other countries, this is exactly how russia was able to weaken the georgia the country to take it over by putting in who they wanted as a leader because they could not even take over that country by military force alone and they are much smaller than russia.  If you don't believe me research it with every search engine and ai search engine and see how many results are the same among them but the main thing is, DO YOUR RESEARCH and see what is actually happening even in our government, don't just blindly believe what you are being fed by your political, social, or even mass media, ... CHOOSE YOUR NEWS.

 

There is a difference between willful ignorance, and the so many people who were in a crisis and were looking for someone they felt was authentic, these people were in a vulnerable state and that's why they were so willing to believe someone whom they believed to be authentic.  The people who didn't know how to find the correct information and were misled, I am pissed at the public figures that misled them.  The one's that were willfully misled and refuse to listen to any other point of view, other than their own, nor do they want to discuss how or why they have came to the conclusions they came to, are like my family.  I am likely the smartest person my family will ever meet in their lives, and it's sad but it's a fact.  My curiosity about everything and my humility is why I know one thing, I'm closer to right than they will ever be. 

 

To all those out there who have family or loved one's who have fell victim to all or some of the misinformation out there, just be patient and gently  point out the flaws in the logic, slowly because due to cognitive dissonance it will be a process to get anyone, whether it be a college graduate to those who have barely gotten by, there is no demographic that all this misinformation hasn't affected in one way or another.
