You think calling my grandma rather than the person who is the plaintiff? Here's a hypothetical for ya...
If someone sent me a civil complaint I would....
Right off the bat, I would call them especially since it's me vs. them. If they had nothing to do with what happpened you would think they would be curious as to why they were included in the complaint and eager to help them solve it, I mean if it were me I most certainly would. I would ask the why and then be a good active listener and try to understand their point of view. One thing I would not do is call their parents, grandparents, or any other relative unless their name was also on the complaint, period. It's just sad that even my family assumes what they hear is correct when not a dang one of them has actually seen the evidence nor have they listened long enough to know why I believe the way I believe because I could explain every bit but like I said before, I'm not wasting my breath until they are ready to listen and listen with the intent to understand, not REPLY.
One thing my dad used to say "if you have nothing to hide or did no wrong," then why wouldn't they want to do an exchange of information or just answer interrogatory questions once I get it filed at the circuit court? If they are innocent, they have nothing to worry about, but if they did this may be why it's been so difficult for one person to do all of this law research and go from clerk to clerk myself since my family has never even shown any faith in their own child which I bet, is smart than they are. I can do anything I have the time to devote to and I have chosen to devote my time to learning about many different subjects. I was in the GT classes in middle school, graduated with honors and a 3.8 at Dover High School, then got 8 certifications in computers in just 7 months in the advanced classes, despite being in a roller coaster of what I thought was a relationship but turned out to just be an acquaintance using me when it was convenient for them, I still graduated in July of 2022.
Today I can wear one of many hats, one day I can be someone's legal advisor; another day I can be their repair and maintenance person for their machines; I'm also the best active listener, which means I know how to validate, empathize, understand, and even put myself in their shoes without judgement. Does anyone else know how to do that effectively?
On top of that I also wrote my state representatives and suggested a few laws similar to the laws that were passed in Arizona by a lawmaker who made an anti-deepfake law using ChatGPT, except I used perplexity.ai to create the one's I suggested. I also suggested to our governor what kind of prison's should be built if they insist on making more, which would be one's that are more humane and similar to a college dormitory except with a big fence around it of course. It would allow each inmate their own room with a window and separate buildings for food, library, etc and also teach them some skills so they would be able to integrate back into society seamlessly, and at least the commissioner sent me an email back thanking me for my suggestion, which is more than I can say for my family. I asked my mother if I calculated my taxes correctly since I'm now a self-employed business, correctly and ..... crickets, still i'm not suprised by that. I think they think if they ignore something long enough, it will just disappear where it is me.
